"Davon geht die Welt nicht unter."

(Bonus points for movie reference.)

Do you mean Garbo? As in Greta Garbo?

I saw it when I was about 6 or 7, so it must be Garbo if you're sure it is..
It was some German propaganda musical, I only remember that actress and the movie poster.
Here it is: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034815/
I remember it because someone taught me that's what that german B translated to, phonetically.

I don't see the South Korean condoms connection, though.

Sorry - I guess the connection is, with young South Koreans seeing mushroom clouds in their immediate future, they are, errm, settling unfinished business, as it were. Relieving stress, getting it off their, ah, chests. Hence the need for condoms.

Obscure movie reference is Der Untergang (Downfall) - "Davon Geht die Welt nicht unter" is the music which is playing in the orgy scene as the young Berliners who remain in the city also, ehm, relieve the stresses  which impending annihilation have brought on.

Sorry, perhaps too obscure.

That's Zarah Leander (Hitler's favorite), and she's Swedish. Garbo (also Swedish) rose to fame in the '50s.
