332nd Flying Mongrels: 9 years old this month

Back in 1996 docdog came by my house and told me about this cool online game called Warbirds. He then went through some aerobatics using his hands describing his flight with a P-38 and landing with one smoking engine. I was hooked from that moment on. He and I started the 332nd Flying Mongrels back in Nov of 1997 in Warbirds. A couple of years later we moved over to Aces High. It has been a fun ride with a great host of memories. Many in our squad have become life long friends and have met each other multiple times beyond the yearly conventions. We have shared losses of friends, parents, and even children. We have helped each other out in times of need way beyond what you might find in most squads. From docdog to Hawco we are a squad where men become friends and friends become brothers. To all our non-squad friends online thanks for everything.  The CM team was a lot of work but well worth the years and time I put forth into Snapshots and Squad Operations. I want to especially thank HTC and their efforts who made this all possible.

First of all for all of your efforts and leadership of our squadron.  While I am completely sure that there are squads out there that are as close as ours is the 332nd was the right fit for me and I haven't regretted a day since I've joined.  

For lack of a better expression I think we all 'get' each other and genuinelly care about what's going on in each others lives.

I am proud to be associated with the mongrels and, regardless of if I'm flyig or not, I will always be involved with my brothers.

Been with the mongrels since i began in AH about 5 yrs. there was a time when i was going to delete account for a few reasons, I stay cause i made a few friends in squad and the fun i have flying with them on friday's. The game is not important anymore but the fun i have in the game is, thanks for the fun 332. Thanks DD for letting me flywith the dogs. I have found out too that once a dog is always a dog ,
