Now don't take this wrong, but you notice when you read the posts on this board how bad the spelling is ? Is it because this is the internet and to save time and space everything is abbreviated, or is it simply because people don't know how to spell or use the proper forms of the words ie: too, two, to, and plane, plain. Now this is not disrepecting anyone, just an observation. Opinions, comments?

Firefox tells me when I make a mistake.  I'm a square though, I enjoy spelling things correctly and using proper grammar.

<-victim of the globalization,

I was born in Transilvania, i live in Canada, i drink german/dutch  beer, i prefer italian /mexican food,  i drive a sweden made vehicle,  i play an american game on a japanese computer made with chinese parts, and watch mostly american movies:   I'm a bloody cocktail.
i can have a conversation, in romanian, french, deutch, some russian , my english will never be like yours, cuz i'm older my studies were done out there, but what can i do? That's what i am,
Should i keep my mouth shutt like a pow? naa, i'll talk,i'll writte, i'll get hit for my bad english by guys like you , but i don't care, that's how i learn more.
The spell check is against progress,if i can make myself unserstood, i better accept the corections made by someone, cuz after i'll remember it for long time,

No one has yet to demonstrate the mind boggling spelling skills of Brady5. Brady is no longer playing or posting to the BBS. He managed to elevate poor spelling to an art form.

He made all the common mistakes ("your" when mean you're, "loose" for lose and so on). However, his genius for the rediculous was unmatched.

My favorite Bradyism.... "Sweat Jesius" (yeah, he was trying to spell "Sweet Jesus").

My regards,

LoL Widewing!

Ball: Care to enlighten me lowly board poster about the difference? I mustve been sick that day we learned it in school ;).

As for my spelling: If anyone finds a mistake, its perfectly OK to keep it :).

Seriously: English is not my native language. I try to be as accurate as possible in both spelling and grammar. This doesnt mean i always succeed. It may either be ignorance or a plain overlook, so please feel free to point recurrent mistakes out. As for me not adding the ' when needed - thats plain laziness :D.

It's a pretty simple thing to mess up "two, to, too."  Even if you know darn well what each one is for, sometimes you just type the wrong one out.

Usually, I catch that and edit it out.  But sometimes I'm in a hurry and don't bother to proof read.

Have you ever written (or is it wrote?  on this I have no clue) a perfect paper on the first try?
