Automatic (and unwelcome) AH Minimizing...?
« on: November 05, 2001, 10:45:00 AM »
Hi all,
This has been annoying me for weeks... occasionally (and always at the worst possible time) AH minimizes to the desktop, and I have to scramble to click on the taskbar to get back in before I've augered (usually too late, usually in combat).

I think I've narrowed it down to the hatswitch on my Saitex X-36 (it always seems to happen when I'm evading a BnZ while looking backwards).

Anyone have any suggestions?

Windows ME
DX8
saitek x36 with throttle and CH pro USB pedals using Bob Church's driver

Thanks in advance.

We all have a blind date with Destiny... and it looks like she's ordered the lobster.

you've got something running in the background, an Email or virus checker?

Next time hit happens, hit cntrl-alt-del and make a note of everything you see there. There should be at most five entries, and in reality you only need three.

I would check and see exactly what you have programmed for that switch position.
For months i was getting random reboots when using the hat switches usually rapidly changing from view to view.
I altered the programmed commands slightly and it has stopped all problems.
