Rufneck from Night Hawks suggested the following after a year of my freezing up:
go to my computer,then
control panel,then
multimedia, then
advanced properties,then
performance-reduce by one or two clicks of the four. IT Worked for me. no freeze since 10/12/2001.
I tried everything before, memory, new video card, didnt matter until this.
