Back in the old days, when HT put out a patch you could D/L it directly from the websight instead of from inside the game.
currently im D/Ling on my main pc and even at a connection speed of 15/mps its taking about 20mins

also i always thought that mass updating causes lag ingame. I was sondering if anybody knows where to go to do web based updates (if any)
If they arent put on the websight any more then i respectfully request that they be put back on the site so we can D/L them much faster

Edit: make that a 35min wait and im only 1/2 way done:furious

Something must be hosing your connect. I have basic cable access at 1.5mbs. It only took 3 1/2 mins to DL the whole new version at 430kb/second.

As for being able to DL just the patch, it seems that for some reason HTC doesn't give you that option on the DL page but every time this happens someone on the BB will post a link to the patch. Where it is and why it's done this way is a mystery.

HTC probably has his reasons for not putting the patch on the main DL page, mayby he'll let us know someday.

LOL whining about a 30 min wait...

I'm out in the stix and have no way to get cable or dsl so I'm stuck on dial up and it took 2.5 hours to download...

im not whining im just asking that we get a option to D/L from the website
the more ppl online and or D/Ling the patch the slower the server is ingame
