Air combat survives
« on: November 25, 2006, 11:54:50 PM »
I've been unable to fly much for the past week or so, but managed to get on tonight for an hour or so.  Had some inspiring Hurri I v. A6M2 fights in the AvA.  When everyone else went to bed, I meandered over to EW and had some more great fights against the folks in there (I note, in passing, that it would be fun to watch 1Duke1 fight OddCAF in P-40Es).  No one ran, no one ganged, and the battles were gripping.

I found it very reassuring, and I am comfortable with the future of AH.

Typical furballer. In case you haven't noticed, there's a war going on.

Shoulda been up last night for the latest "Candy Mountain-Fear the Val" run last night.  14 Vals on the prowl without bombs, just looking for a fight.  3 of us ganged a Spit V to death.  Raptor, who set up the mission landed 2 kills.  Good fun had by all dogfighting in the Val :)

The Val is fun to fly...

I have been using it in LW and have to wonder what other pilots are thinking when they see a Val joining a furball :P
