Yes you can, although with most proxies you will have to use the TCP protocol.  TCP tends to be not as smooth, but it does work.

It's not a setting you can make in AH, but one that must be done on the proxy.  This will only work through a full-protocol proxy, it will not work through an HTTP only type of proxy.

I don't think it is SOCKS compliant either.

Have the proxy administrator open (I think) ports 2000 to 2200.

This is probably better discussed in the Internet Forum.

Let's back-track a bit.

- What sort of setup do you have at your end?

- What exactly are you trying to achieve? And I don't just mean with Aces High.

Once we get that out in the open, we can proceed.

However, some basic info to get you started:

Assuming you have a network at home (or work), and can dedicate a low-end (486 class) machine, look into the Linux Router Project. Alas, I do not have the URL to hand, but a quick search on AltaVista should turn it up. Otherwise Windows 2000 has quite an advanced Internet Connection Sharing built-in.

For shareware, I've used WinProxy to hook a network up to the Internet via an ISDN line.
