Welcome to AH. Myself and a couple of squaddies flew in FA until 1998 or early 1999. Flew FA for about a year or so. Maybe it was 200 I came here. Been so long I don't remember.

Anyway , I am the CO of the 71 RAF Eagles. We fly for the Knights. We are mainly a fighter squad but have been known on occasion to actually capture a base.

Our Squadron Aircraft is the Spitfire. We're a loose bunch and when not on Squad Fighter sweeps can be found all over the place flying anything from 47's to 109's , A6M's to F6F's.

You'll find the learning curve here fairly steep. I and the other 2 squaddies fancied ourselves hot shots in FA. Each of us sporting 10 aces at a time on more than one ocassion. Myself and another having 20 one time. When we came here we figured we would just wear em out. We couldn't have been more wrong. I flew for atleast a month scoring 2 or 3 kills and 1 or 2 of those were proxy. :lol  Don't be discouraged and hang in there. When you get the feel of it  , it is the best Flight Sim online game you can expierance.

IF you and your new squad fly on the Knights side I would be happy to lend you  hand in showing you some of the ropes here. Feel free to PM me in this Message board and I will answer prolly with in that day.

Welcome aboard and enjoy your time in AH.

Thanks Redtop.  We don't really have a side we fly for right now but if we're flying Knights we'll look you up.
