Try to swich terain in the editor and it dumps me back to the desktop. Other than that it works fine with startup terain.

Sox,

this problem occours in the TE for a couple of reasons, (usually the default files are missing or the currterr.cfg file points to an empty directory).

The terrain editor forum has the exact answer.

The Help files are in the Downloads section of the HTC website.
