Its beyond naive to think that disagreements will not exist between allied countries. The world is always changing, crisis come and go, as do military and economic challenges. Look at the last 200 years.

Its also not news that the UK and the USA have had differing views or Iraq, its not "news", its somebody trying to make a splash to sell a headline.

This has been obvious from the start of the Iraq adventure. Blair's reasoning (behind all the WMD & moral mission BS) has been that Britain would have more influence as a member of the "Coalition of the Willing", which looks pretty stupid now.
