Parin can you, or anyone else, give me a quick opinion on the CH Fighterstick vs Combatstick? Same size on the hand grip? From what I see....

Combatstick - 6 push buttons, 1 - 4 way hat, 1 - 8 way hat

Fighterstick - 3 push buttons, 3 - 4 way hats, 1 - 8 way hat

How does one decide which is best?

if you're paring the stick with a CH pro throttle, then the combat stick and CH pro combination is going to give you enough buttons i would say. But if you just like loading up all the buttons with all manner of stuff, you can never have enough buttons, so i'd go for the Fighterstick (which is what i have + CH Pro throttle and Peds). Having said that i have buttons on my throttle unasinged - perhaps 3 or 4 buttons on throttle are not being used. All buttons, and hats are used on the fighterstick tho.
The 3x4-way hats are great, just treat them as 4-buttons under one finger

LOL, I have all buttons on both my Fighterstick and the throttle used up, and over half of them are assigned a "toggle" function too. One button on the throttle is used in the CH Manager to turn it into a "toggle" so you can assign each button a different function depending on if the toggle button is pressed.

You never have too many buttons.

I personaly like the F16 Combat stick.  PC Gamer magazine states "it just feels right."  I've used it since it has been on the market.......in combination with the Pro Throttle and the pedals.  Only time I use the keyboard is on the text buffer.  I also use Control manager so that I can program for other sims and games.
