10° Gruppo C.202 flown by Franco Lucchini.
This is my first historical skin, all suggestions welcome:D

I mentioned with the tail shading that it has a section that sticks forward. It's sort of like this:

EDIT: I still think the fuselage codes need to be more centered.

I like the size of the new wing insignia, but they're almost touching the leading edge. Can you shift them back a bit to be more centered fore/aft? Also they seem a bit ... blurry. not sure if that's just the screenshot or not.

Oh, i didn't understand well that part, thought you were saying for the edge of rudder near fuselage.I'll be fixing that.

Also, people, historical skin had 1 wing different from another, but in ah we can only paint one wing for c202.

Another thing I wan't sure about until I went back and checked on it:

Where did you get your panel lines from? There seems to be too many of them, at odd angles, on the wings and stabilizers.

This is why I mention it:

EDIT: There's actually a few more on the wings, than that image. However the other images I have are broken into multiple parts. I got those from the webpage you linked me to, you might have seen them.

I actually made up those lines (haha) because i had no idea where i could find those.I can be really stupid sometimes, i'll start redoing them hehe:]

Great weathering/skin BUT... I'd redo the large paint wear/chips little too blurry for my taste. You tend to make it in only corners paint chips happend when prop tosses stuff after start up/running so it would be everywhere. Paint wear is for well accessed areas. Other than that its perfect

Well, when in doubt, just use the default skin as a guideline. I wouldn't ever suggest "just making them up" for any AH-based skin.

Did you hand-make the exhaust stacks? Can you make them a little more "crisp"? It almost looks like they're out of focus but this is a trick I know.

If Gatt or anybody else could correct, unless I'm wrong I think the name on the nose was only on one side (the side with the intake).

Very interesting. It's a screenshot from Target Tobruk showing a different C202 with the name on the right side as well.

They're not infallible (it is a player-submitted game, basically) but it's a a point for the nose art being on both sides!

So, disregard my comment about the nose art, Duh

Yep no one is infallible as far as FMs are concerned.

However, italian skins in Target Tobruk are well researched. We have a lot of authentic historical references and we usually test skins with our real historian.

P.S.: there is a small italian team working on 3D models, FM's and skins. The advantage is that we have italian hard data impossible to find for any developer (be it AH2, WB or IL-2). We have collected almost every flight, engine, propeller, instruments, test and tech data for italian a/c involved in the MED theatre. The problem is that most sims are not open to accept third parties work, and ppl is much more committed when they see their work in the final product, you know.

Okay just a few more suggestions then I say it's probably good to go:

1) The prop should be entirely white, according to the color template you showed me. Now it's half white, half tan.

2) The symbol with the axe inside the reeds should have the white axe blade always pointing forward (just flip it, easy fix). Check both sides.

3) The cross on the rudder needs to be moved on top of the green camouflage layer. Right now it's underneath. Also it should *almost* touch the top of the rudder, and *almost* touch the back of the rudder, so just scale it up a bit and keep the white vertical part on the rudder hinge line like you have it now.

There's a few other minor parts but I don't want to go too "perfectionist" on ya.
