Hi 214thCavalier,
 You should be able to hit the Setup Button on the Clipboard. From there , there should be a terrain button Hit this and then select the terrain you want from the list.

(Or have I misunderstood your question)?

No you got it right first time thx  
My only exscuse for not finding the obvious is i was ahem up till 4am playing 1.05  
Needless to say today after having to get up early to take her shopping i am most definitely not up to speed.
