Some new player do not understand/hear range voice transmission.
Also, keep in mind that some might come from H2H enviroment where shooting/fighting friendlies is the norm.

How about getting on private chat for second, explaining and maybe even offering help?

I guess none of you guys was every new to Aces High and you immediatly knew your ways around.

Actually, I read the manual before I started playing so I pretty much knew my way around when I first started in AH. Did the same thing when I started AW way back when I was a wee little laddie. Maybe the new guy should RTFM?

Talked to anyone recently out of the public education system?
Have them read something to you.
Many are sharp as tacks, almost as smart as we were, but way too many get their high school diploma and can not read.
Others are kids with parents of the me first and I want it NOW generation, who don't have time for the basic learning curve because it "takes to long", and they are WORSE than their parents when it comes to putting in some time learning, and heaven forbid they might have to read something.

I find people that shoot at friendlies, at least on the ground cause a hassle because
#1 listening is part of how you fight on the ground

#2 it draws enemy attention to the area

& #3 when the enemy sees what is going on, they don't even bother with the idiot firing all over the place to watch the shell bursts; they go straight for the guy who is trying to fight knowing full well the other butt-hole isn't worth bothering with at the moment & will be nothing more than cannon fodder after the real player is dead

I haven't had the pleasure of friendlies getting on my 6 o'clock blazing away & distracting me in the air surprisingly, But I can see how it would bother someone (not having watched the video) Kill-shooter is a good thing to have on or there wouldn't be much else going on lol

My brother introduced me to the game. First time we upped, I couldn't resist the urge to see how the guns worked . . . . and he was the closest target. As I fired at him and promptly blew up, he chuckles over VOX and says " I knew you were gonna do that - forgot to mention "killshooter""
