I have been seeing this quite a bit as of late.
Pilot ejects over enemy field then while on the ground uses his .45 to take out 2 field guns.
Would it please be possible to remedy this?

couple well placed shots could disable a fieldgun in theory, would kinda be sniper skill or luck or a combo of both.

The question is why you think this is wrong?  Next we will hear requests of having a door in the map room padlocked so a pilot can't wait inside of it to kill enemy troops with his .45.  (easily resolved by straffing the map room)

Yeah that is right! let's have a straight boring game were there is no need to adapt for the different innovative ways to do war.

UP ---> FLight to target ---> Kill ----> Land. ( repeat 20 times per night )

In earlier versions of AH you could kill a soft gun that someone was in by shooting the seat with your .45. I don't know if that still works or not.

Guess your gunnery isn't up to spec. You have to hit the dang thing with non exploding rounds aka .50 cal .

:p

Yep.  I've killed the manned ack a VB's on multiple occasions with my .45.  Can aim anywhere a long as you hit.  Takes several shots though.

Gee 400 mph closure rate with a moving gun platform.  Can't understand why it would be hard to hit a small gun emplacement with a non explosive round.

Once again IF you hit it it goes poof .

Fun with .45's:

Stand in the map room and kill loads of troops while also scoring proxie kills on awsome LW planes (I had 6 one night).

Kill the manned ack at any field.

Stand on an enemy runway in front of where the planes spawn placing a single shot into the engine area.   High likelyhood of watching a smoker leave the runway and a possible kill if patient.

Stand on an enemy runway NEXT to where the planes spawn.  Aim directly for the pilot's head giving him a pilot wound before he even gets rolling (this one is particularily fun).  If he actually takes off a kill is almost guaranteed.

Why have a .45 in hand if you can't have some fun with it?

I want to know how he got to the ground in one piece.  If I bail anywhere near an enemy field, I'm perforated by flak long before I open my parachute.  How in the world does an anti-aircraft gunner consistantly hit a human falling at terminal velocity?  I've always said that anti-aircraft fire was too accurate.
