The 500th (BGH) The Tigertails , one of the oldest bomber groups from Warbirds, has now set up HQ in Aces High. After flying literally hundreds and hundreds of missions since the 90's, we enjoy flying historical flight profiles and maximizing the dammage we do to targets, and large formations of bombers. You'll see us hooked up with the fine folks of the
78th Intruders making raids on enemy fields in the main arenas, as well as in Combat Tour (when it arives) and in scenarios. We use Teamspeak(PTT) for voice comms for clarity and concise communications. We are mostly an older group, ages 30-50+, as we have an 18+ age joining rule.
If your like minded about your gameplay, and enjoy long escorted bomber missions and having fun with friends, the 550th may be the place for you. Together with the 78th Intruders, we are going to be a force to be reckoned with in any arena or event we fly in. Tight formations, and one pass total target
destruction will be our SOP.
