Leaving the atmosphere in AH?
« on: January 06, 2007, 11:28:43 PM »
i don't know how to post my film, but take an me 162 over water and set auto speed for 200mph (.target 200, then hit alt+x AFTER you are cruising above 200 mph) once you hit around 78000 ft (hey mom i can see my house from here!) you can no longer see your cockpit, but if you look behind you you can see that the clouds below are clearly curved. I'm not sure what alt you would need to see the curve of the earth in real life, but try it! then sharply push forward so that you start redding out, and point to what you think is nose-down until you can see again. dive straight down and you might have to pull up to avoid the water! I did!

Oh and someone must have done this before, so i don't know if it's old news.

by the way, i set fuel burn mult for .001 but i'm not sure if it worked for the me 162

:rofl but actually i made a clean landing... well, i rolled onto a wing but its the ME 162! you can't land it! nothing broke though.

hmm, maybe AH should ad rapid decompression if you get a bullet hole in your canopy at high alt. "Check 6" followed by breaking glass and a pop as your body inflates like a balloon:O !!! Hurray!:aok also add blood spray to coat the inside of the remainder of the canopy that way all your wingmates know what happened to you:t

CM-eye mode / GOD-eye mode can be enabled offline or in H2H and sometimes SEA (I think it might be enabled in DA) .... this will let you see and understand the AH sim enviroment.

once enabled...
f5 to use .... then you have to make sure the keys for CM eye are map'd
