hiya.

and if you want to know anything, the help forum is a wealth of information, and the player base has a ton of very helpful individuals.

I'd highly recommend reading all of the help files, and set up a trainer, there are soooo many little nuances to the game and the community it can be really helpful.

Why the hell not... :) I had a dogfight with a spit in my Ki-67 and got him, it was tricky switching to the nose gunner for the shot but I got him....

Holy hijack Batman! That didnt take long :).

Welcome JohnyBGood!

Theres little I have to add that Mustaine didnt say already. This community is a great one... except the odd bad apple (some of which im sure will be right behind me posting ;)) and the odd real troublemaker. But if you take everything said with a hint of humour, yourself not too serious and treat others with the respect you wish to recieve yourself, theres nothing that can really go wrong here.

Flight Model wise youre going to be in for a good deal. Highly realistic - theres definitly a learning curve there, even if you have prior flight sim experience.

Dont let the rather low graphics fool you totally. This game is still pretty demanding CPU and graphics wise... simply for the large amount of data that needs to be processed besides simple eye candy. During prime times, there can be over 800 people online at once.

Im not sure you are aware of this: you have a two week free trial period when you first install the game (its triggered the first time you log into an online arena). Just come on in, the water is fine :).

:rofl Sorry, no disrespect intended. This just strikes me as funny.

Welcome Johnny. I, too, would encourage you to seek a trainer in the TA for a few days or at least a few flights. The learning curve here is steep.

Oh, and another word of advice to you....Stay at least 5k away from 999990000 in his bombers. It's most certain death if you don't. :aok
Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

Hey Johny,

I played CFS alot also, this is WAY better. You will love it.

Yes, a few training sessions will do wonders. Another good resource is http://www.netaces.org. Great information there that will help you not look like a newb in the arena.
