all i was landing kills on a CV coming up to land,flaps all down gear and talihook down when my gears hit the deck,i go flying off the back of the cv.the cv wasent turning at all.

P.S.....i lost 11kills in a F4u1.:mad:

When you hit the deck you need your throttle all the way off.

CC i did sir i was costing her in i landed on the CV deck right before i came to a stop i shot me off the back.it was like a rubberband effect...

There are 2 things to cause this.  

#1, the CV is moving, and you can actually roll backwards if brakes aren't applied.

#2, You need to take your arrester hook up, as landing causes tension on the cables.  Once foreword motion stops, the cable tries to release tension, ie. the rubber band effect.

I land with power on, hook down, enough to cause the slingshot (I know it well, because I like to torture n00bs by tricking them into slingshotting off the back..) and yet this has never happened to me. Once I hit the deck and feel the bumps though, I cut power off. Perhaps this is a new bug?
