][] nightmare!
« on: June 17, 2000, 08:14:00 PM »
I[ dont know if this is an AH concern or not but I am having a helluva time stoppin[]g[] the intermittent prod[]u[c]tion of keystrokes from the "[" and "]" keys. I do not have those keys programmed into my CH gear so I cannot figure out where they are coming from. I will also get the occasional "{" and "}" appear. When out of AH, the problem still occurs. As you can imagine, it makes for some frustrating times when trying to fly a[][n]d when trying to type []messages. I spend way too much time on the backspace key trying to clean things up.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Sometimes it makes the sim unplayable.

Sounds like a faulty keyboard.  Have you spilled a drink on it or anything like that?

DmdBT,

HeHe, those are coming from the throttle wheel on your Joystick.  I get them occasionally myself.  Redown load your file into your throttle and ensure that the throttle wheel is all the way closed and they should go away.  There is a more permenate fix some one showed me a while ago, but darned if I can remember it.

Just reload your jstick/throttle file in speedkeys and ensure you throttle wheel on the jstick is all the way closed and it should go away.  Maybe one of the CH gurus can give you a better fix.

Hehe don't thank me thank HTC.  They pay me for this.

Well Ok they don't really pay me
I wish I could remember what the real fix for this was had something do with setting something with the throttle slider in speed keys?????
