This week: Get Yamamoto
« on: March 02, 2007, 08:24:59 AM »
Due to unforeseen time constraints this morning, radar settings may not be correct.

Hated to turn killshooter back on, but the arena has been abused by pointmongers and we've agreed that it has to stop.

There are some inherent instabilities in the Slot map.  If we find that it's a problem, we'll load a new terrain.  Let us know if the arena becomes porked.

GET YAMAMOTO

The time is early 1943.  Bloodied at Guadalcanal
and frustrated in their overland attempt to capture
Port Moresby, the Japanese, commanded by the brilliant
Admiral Yamamoto, gather their strength for a
powerful counterattack.

(Note:  Due to map issues, the fight has been set
further west of Guadalcanal.)

Comes with the map.  I don't know of any way to lock individual carrier groups.  Command is limited to one at a time.

The IJN and IJAF plane set reads like an all you can eat buffet menu for the P-38G.

Think I'm going to have to tell my girlfriend I'm not feeling well and can't go out to dinner with her and her parents tonight so I can play after work ^__^

Sometimes they up the number of troops to prevent lame milkers from rollin' up bases and porkin' the map. Try EW or MW, good places to milk.
