unless there was a cylon ship of some sort capable of handling that atmosphere right there to pick her up and make her a prisoner of war.

Or she's a Cylon, and the whole swirl thing has been an implanted memory, ala Bladerunner and the spider story or Deckard's unicorn dream.  Bonus points to anyone who knows what I'm talking about.

Starbuck better not be a cylon, I'd rather see Baltar stay alive than that.

It has turned into a weepy womans soap opera.

They lost me when they had the fights where tiny little women got in the ring with buffed out men and won the boxing match.   silly PC crap.

The only action these days is women beating up men.

Yeah, I found that a bit lame. As if Thrace had enough mass to hurt Adama if she tried.

plus... have you noticed... the political and military wing go from doing what is right in some instances no matter what to becoming tyrants in others... The writers are using them in out of character ways when they want to make some political point or another.

plus... it is such a dreary socialist lifestyle that you almost wish that the cylons would just finish off all these sorry excuses for human beings.   Not an individual in the bunch.

Lazs, military organizations and governments at war are usually not big on individualism. Even more so when the survival of mankind is at stake I think.

Well you do know theres only so much you can do with the human race running through space fleeing from robots, if they showed them waxing cylons every time it'd get even more boring than if they all sang campfire songs on the flight deck

vikinggshlotz..  I understand that but the main characters undergo these huge personality changes... to make a point the writers have the president and admiral go from fair and compassionate to hitler in one episode and then back again.

They show em in the trenches with the troops and then the next episode living like roman emperors in luxury while the citizens work 14 hours a day 7 days a week for years...  no explanation.. they show em as humanity lovers one week and as class consious only tards the next.

dmf..I disagree.   There would be lots of action in a fleet of 50,000 humans all packed together under stress..

You can show that or you can show the weeping and PC crap.. I see which they have chosen and they lost me.

I see what you're talking about Lazs... there have been times where the series has developed a flow, then suddenly an episode pops in that appears to be the same show in an alternate universe. It is disruptive, and hadn't put my finger on what bothered me so much, but you're right, it has to do with developing characters suddenly doing something uncharacteristic.
