If we had complex engine management there would be blown engines covering every map to a depth of 10ft.

My all time favourite aircraft. But it's killed me more often in AH than any player. Half the time I never even get off the ground and that's with AH's slightly diluted handling taken into account. No wonder it was called the 'Ensign eliminator'. Imagine what it was like to face that machine as a twenty year old straight out of primary flight training.

The wing drop at the stall made me gasp. They didn't even mention what would happen if you attempted a go around by firewalling the throttle. It would just torque roll into the ground.

A fabulous aircraft.

neat film... curious about some things mentioned in there about power settings, and how AH manages those... also, "Don't exceed 7 G's in and configuration"...

doesn't AH let you go to 9 G's before failure, or death? I have NEVER seen an F4u rip wings or anything like that ever in AH.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Wings are over rated.  Mine generally fall off immediately after a red icon shows up.  Saves time.

What I find amazing is that the F4u was notoriously bad spin.  If you are low and slow and spin it, you're dead.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

That training film was really interesting.  It is amazing how much went into flying a plane with so much to think about all the time.
Thanks for the film.
