I dont know if this has been requested, but it would be great to have the

A-2 because it is so much better than the 262 A-1, it could be perked more

than the A-1 to compensate for its superiority.:D

What, you take off 2 of the 30mm guns and add two aircraft-destabilizing 500kg bombs under the nose? Or were they 250KG? I can't remember.

I'd rather get R4Ms for the 262 we've got!

Actually, it is still four 30mm, interchangable with four 20mms, optional

bomb loads, MUCH faster because of a sufficiently powered engine, which

thus makes it superior in every way! :O  :huh    :D

No, it had 2 Mk. 108s.

Might be fun, but R4Ms would be much more fun.

He has a point.... Galland was 'fired' from the Luftwaffe by Göring for protesting against the 262s use as a bomber.

He was given a chance to start JV 44 to show the strength of the 262 as a fighter as was proved right.

Too little, too late.

Bombs on the 262 would be a horrible waste. The rockets would be nice though for a little bit of buff-hunting fun.

Waste of what? Time? We aren't talking about too much in the ways of modeling or coding. This isn't World War II Online where you have a finite amount of supplies either. So it wouldn't be like you're wasting the 262A2 on what could be more 262A1s.

It would be a fun toy to play with.

Krusty you know better than that:D

On topic though, I think it would be a cool addition to the GAME. It did see service as a fighter bomber and if we want to argue about "historically acurate" stuff. Lets get real here for a moment. How often did P-51's engage in combat with other P-51's? The game is acurate only to a point and that is the aircraft. Did it see combat service, and is the flight model as acurate as it can be? Other than that anything is possible in the game. That's why I hate the "there is no night so we don't need a night fighter" type comments. When it comes to planes to be added, who cares if the thing sucked or if it was a night fighter or whatever excuss people use to try and shoot ideas down with. If they were real planes that saw combat they deserve a place in the game.

Besides this IS the wishlist forum and it really boils down to 1 thing and 1 thing only. Does HiTech think it's a good idea and worth spending his money on to develop it? He is the guy who signs the checks after all.

Please do, I dislike your posts that tear me down when those "in the know" agree with what I posted, that you're tearing me down for.
