Help !

Just upgraded my System to a PIII500 & can Finaly run AH again ! Prob is, that when I use the Voodoo II (Voodoo 2 PCI attached to a Matrox MGAG200). Am using the latest Reference Drivers (Feb2000) and after a couple of Secconds, I suffer Video Glitches (Colours turn to weird patches)...then a complete System freeze!!!

Help ! I wanna shoot you all down !

Hi PJ,
I run a PII 400 with Matrox MGAG200 & Voodoo 2. I'm probably teaching you how to suck eggs but..... I experienced lockups after over clocking my card from the default 93mhz since going back to the defaults no more problems. Also in the advanced settings I have none of the boxes checked "Tri linear texture filtering" causes me a host of problems including lockups for some reason as does the "Z buffering and triple buffering" options in the AH Video screen. I now leave them all alone.

Hope this helps, If it does remember it if you find yourself on my 6

Thanks Snafu, you were absolutely spot-on. Had swapped my hard drive from old system but forgot to set the V2 to default..duh!
