HARM AvA-OpFor Mission Sunday Night
« on: March 28, 2007, 09:29:38 PM »
A few squads looking to do more of the historical type stuff have been flying Heavy bomber missions in the MA for the last few weeks on Sunday night.  This week the mission is going to be moved to the AvA in an effort to jump start things there.  I hope some of the current and old AvA (CT) regulars will be able to show up and participate in the missions.  There will be both AH missions for both Axis and Allies to join.  They are open to anyone to join.  So if you are tired of the P51 versus Spitfire stuff, please stop out for a much more immersing approach to WWII combat flight sim'ing .

Hope to see ya there, feel free to PM me or Trukk if you have any questions.

Bug would somebody PLEASE have the groundcrew check my plane for beer kegs, stashed laundry, Trukks old Mad magazine collection, or anything else that might weigh my plane down.  It gets LONELY 2 miles back from formation.

Hehe, you're asking the wrong guy.  I'll get the beer kegs out for sure, but will replace them cinder blocks! :)

We'll be gunning for you come Sunday night.

....especially the ones out of formation.

Daddog, get with Trukk and let him know which side you'll be flying for. I'd like to put forth that I can provide a chanel on our teamspeak for a CO's meeting to iron out the details this evening. Anyone needing the server info just say so and I'll PM it here.

Leningrad - dropped 4 buildings
« Reply #9 on: April 02, 2007, 02:47:26 PM »
Top notch fights and mission planning last night:aok

Most interesting and challenging mission.  Every detail played out exactlly as one would expect in actual conflict.  The escorts rendezvous, was a welcome sight to us bomber pilots.  Wow!  Were they needed?  Almost on que, interceptors climbed up and into the formations and were immediately swarmed by escorts.  Concentration was difficult to maintain, yet awareness on targets was focused.  Flight leader blkmagc and trukk guided us through to successfully drop on Leningrad.  I personally dropped 4 city buildings, with the aid of my best gunner Vilkas .

I am anxious to hear about other stories of the event.

Guys please find a way to post feedback from the mission.

HARM organizers :aok  Please do more of these!!!!

Don't forget to shift + left click on your target to select target altitude.   This completes the calibration as posted on web.:aok
