So, I successfully pushed over my coffee mug content to the IBM T40 laptop... Aaaargh!
I instantly unplugged the power- and lan-cable and pour out as much coffee(black lean with very little sugar) I could. Then I removed the battery, CD/DVD and hard drives.
Finally I open the laptop and removed the mouse-pad front cover and keyboard modules.
Only some little coffee 'drops' were inside of the laptop itself. I guess the keyboard module with small edges hold the coffee pretty much inside. Too bad the keyboard model is a small mechanical marvelous with tight tolerances... Oh boy:(
Now the keyboard model is drying up and I'm wondering is there anything else what I could do for it?
Anyone has similar experiences?
