I think I maybe be just little bit outnumbered here...

Time to RUN!!!  :O

I'm a little disheartened, I don't see the usual f4u-4s hang out up top. You know, because they were afraid that they might get shot down by your lonely p51.
Yeah, that's right, you just got your rear handed to you by a fuggly puppet!

Don't be too disheartened, two of the three kills WERE high F4Us  :ahand

Third one was a F6F, I damaged about five, not including couple of ditchers (add those, about 8)

The base fell about 3 minutes after I 'un-assed the area'

Diving in on a bomber.

(Image removed from quote.)

The lumbering beast attempts to maneuver out of my guns.

(Image removed from quote.)

I jam the stick forward and scream, "Eff no, Lockdweeb!"

(Image removed from quote.)

"Carry on."

(Image removed from quote.)

Another bomber! A quick burst to the left engine, as usual.

(Image removed from quote.)

I escort my opponent until he fixes his engine fire problem. He never did  :(

(Image removed from quote.)

I finally decide to take down a fighter. Vengeance for frying my buddy's radiator.

(Image removed from quote.)

One last hurrah in a desperate attempt to defend my airfield. Last man standing, I make an E-clobbering vertical attack on an incoming bomber.

(Image removed from quote.)

Left engine, as always. I attempt signing my name in bullet holes on his fuselage, if it's illegible, it's because I was drunk.

(Image removed from quote.)

Instead of applause for my leet skillz, the enemy gives me a 12 gun salute. I am humbled  :salute

Nice pics.  Is that AVA?

Those are impressive shots snuggie.

Well, they impressed me.  :D

Caught some "numbers guy" at 6k.  Guess he doesn't need the perks.

Looks close, doesn't it?  That's no camera trick, it was that close.  :uhoh

He was going over 100mph slower than the B-29s I usually encounter and it threw my timing off.

A little scary diving straight down at 500mph so close to the ground.  Raked him from end to end.  Ka-boom!  :)

Last night's FSO. We're doing the Alder Krieg Scenario this month. Luftwaffe vs USAAF 1943 in North Africa.

Had a similar encounter where I just finished a bomb run in a set of B17s. Noticed a set of B29s just 2K under me passing by. Dove on them and shot down all 3. Probably the best sortie I ever had in bombers.  Earned 45 perks. Best thing, I had a friendly nearby who allowed me to take the kills and watched from afar. He was cheering me on as I put holes into those B29s.  :D <S>

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

Some B-29 JABO action:

The arena was a little crowded (and had some household chores to do), so settled in at 25k over enemy turf.

Say hello to my little friends.

There were high enemy fighters flying CAP over the base, but only 20k or so.  Amateurs.  ;)

Herr LuftAce, returning from the hunt, unaware that some uninvited guests are on his high six.

Almost made it.  Accidently bracketed him with 500 pound bombs.  I thought they said the bombsite was fixed.  Was aiming for the town center to boost my skoar. ;)  Going to have a little talk with the ground crew when I get back.

Got chased by two fighters, so after running like a little girl - sprayed and prayed until finally hitting paydirt.

He claimed that he only wanted to borrow my Grey Poupon, but I'm not buying it.

The Alps are lovely this time of year.  Make sure you cleanup your wreckage before leaving the park.

Smacking around a P38 a little bit.

Spotting a flamer

Wrong place to find a N1K

Another fight with a 110.

Too bad hand gestures are not part of AH. I can think of a few that would be good in this situation.

Of course I am sure he would return the favor here.

Are those out of order? Seems like the flaming 110G should be the last frame? Logically looking at the progression, that is.

I see your confusion.

That first 110 is actually a different 110. It was the first one of the sortie.

Modified it to clear up any confusion, hopefully.

LOL! You ran into no less than 3(!) 110Gs in a single sortie?? Wow!
