land and re-arm

I hear players say they're going to land and re-arm.  Does this mean there is a way to re-arm and refuel w/o starting all over again?  I've looked in the training sections and don't see anything about this subject.

You are correct. You get your ord and fuel and guns you selected in the hanger before you took off. It takes 30 secs to reload, but you get full loadout.

ahhh, I knew I forgot something. Re-arm pad is at the end of the runway, There is a small building; and yes, you can collide with it. anyway, it says "RE-ARM" on it, just roll onto it and wait 30 secs. when 30 secs is up it says "Weapon Reload Complete" just taxi onto the runway and you are good to go.

Only one thing to add: Re-arming will not repair a damaged plane.

Another thing to add;  don't forget to raise your flaps if you deployed them when you landed.  Oh and you have to manually take off.  No auto-take off enabled.

Spikes, you forgot the part about the circle.

You don't actually park on the building.  Next to the building, there is a yellow circle painted on the taxiway.  Stop your plane in it, and you'll get a message that rearming is started.  30 seconds later, you'll get another message that loading is complete.  Then you can taxi away and take-off like you are starting new.

There are a couple of benefits.  If ord or fuel is down at that base, you still get the loadout you had at initial takeoff.  Plus, if you're a score potato , it keeps the same sortie going so you can run your kill total for the mission higher.

It is certainly a skill you want to practice if you plan to do any scenarios or other events that are one life.  You can't replane, so you have to rearm during the longer events.

Another tip for the refuel pad, is to go ahead and shut off your engines, they'll cool down faster while you're sitting there letting you get back some of your wep.

This is also a good way to get external fuel tanks or ord if the base was hit and not providing any when you up from tower.

Most of the time you rearm, you're either out of gas or out of ammo.

Doesn't matter if the base is hit and you get bombs (when all the ord is destroyed), that's a minor thing that may eventually get "fixed"

What matters is, even if you didn't get DTs or bombs (hypothetically), based on what was bombed out at that field, you'd still get internal gas and fuel -- and that's the important part.

Hmm, I know my eyes are getting worse with age, but does anyone see the word "circle" anywhere in the above quote?
