as far as I know anyway, you just have to let the distribution center sell it.

that's what I am running into with 1 of my tanks, it has 1,700 crude in it, but the center only sells 400 per cycle, so I am upgrading the dist. center.

you all notice this "round" will end on the 8th?

been reading, and every "month" all is reset and we all start new off.

kind of a bummer, but may be interesting especially if we all team up on the first day and play hard core

if this round is any indicator, I got to almost 1/2 of the top players score in just a day, we'll have to see what happens next round

Yep, I was asking thinking I'd missed something.. I only saw one connection per refinery, so it didn't look like it could move oil anywhere but back to where it came from.. unless you switch the refinery's connection to another tank at the right time?

Why not sell all that crude if you are not refining it? Or are your pumps putting out 1700 per cycle? (1700 twice an hour)

Im already selling heating oil. Got about $100,000 for about an hour or 1 1/2 hours

Using lvl 2 tanks
Lvl 1 refinery
Lvl 2 distribution
2 pumps (lvl 1 and 2)

yeah 2 lvl 2 pumps into 1 tank... but it has been building up for a while, with the pumps putting out combined 400 / cycle, and distribution center only doing 200 per cycle at first there was a buildup.

just learned a trick too... someone who is active and collecting their money, well chances they aren't online the second the dist. center sells the product, meaning right then you raid them, be online at 50 / 20 of the hour or there abouts and w00t!

too bad I am using all my kerosene as attack fuel, and now I'm out, no raids for a few cycles

Hey, by my best figure, 400 bbl. of heating oil brings $60,000.

Crude oil, for 200 bbl. brings just $15,000.

So, If HO is 2 steps of refinement over Crude, then by this reasoning, Jet fuel should be what, $120,000 for 400bbl.?

I was thinking about just retaining some oil in my spare tank, then refining it all out to Heating oil, then resetting my refineries to make it into Jet Fuel. Of course, I'll do this with like 1,000 bbl. but that's the only way to make it worth it.

I currently have gasoline being refined, working on the production line to increase output and sales. Then its time to build up a military. Currently have 20 soldiers getting high on fumes

Hey JB, have you gotten any nasty PM's from the people you've been raiding? Or have they been AFK the whole time?

I realized something too: Depending on what you want to make, you have to divide the number of steps into how much tank capacity you have. For example: Meatwad want to make Gasoline. If he has a lvl 2 tank, which is 1500 barrels, he has to make sure he has enough space for the retention time. So, since Gasoline is step 4, then you divide 4 into 1500 = 375. So, this is the amount of Crude coming in. However, if you go for Kerosene, which is 2 steps, then you can hit the tank with 750 in, and keep the tank full.

C: 7.5, K: 10, H: 15, G: ?, J: ?
So it's not linear.. I'd guess Jet fuel is probably not as profitable as crude:

$/time(1 hour) for 100bbl, (production time):
C: 15(0.5), K: 10(1), H: 10(1.5), G: ?, J: ?

I'm gonna find out, Moot. I've just switched my production to my spare tank, which will just sell crude, and the 1,000 barrels I kept in my main production I'm gonna just let it refine all the way to jet. I'll keep you guys posted on the selling price, amount sold, etc.

actually, the wells produce twice an hour, and you get 2 refining operations, and 2 sales.
