Split missions and more targets destroyed. Join up...or HARM will come to your side. :D

A few pics of the last run...

The group. Only lost one over Target and on the whole run due to our excelent escorts, and attentive tailgunners.

The target..hehe, pic pretty much says it all. :D

Coming home.

Unrelated. Just put in here to show the fine work done recently by the HTC crew on the great new terrains. WTG folks!

DONT MISS THE NEXT ONE  You'll regret it if you do. :)

Sounds like fun.

Are both the offense and defense sides organized via missions, or is just the side with bombers organized via missions with defensive opposition coming from the regular players in the arena?

Will the arena and country information be supplied in this topic prior to start of the HARM mission?

One side only, there's enough "natural" opposition (and much of that in jets/rockets) that we need all the escorts we can get.  The arena and team info is updated on the HARM post about half an hour before the mission launches (click on image in first post).

It would be great if some LW squads step up. Maybe they fear our escorts? (<-HARMless jest :) ) Seriously though , these events are very interactive with the general arena population. It takes the event to the crowd instead of visa versa. Many folks are now joining in weeky on the missions, and winging up to try and intercept us. And believe me some of the interceptors have been very effective, and have provided some of the greatest air battles I've seen personally anywhere in any event. Sometimes the ENy settings put a hurt on us because of our numbers, but on the other side of the coin it also directs us to fly for the underdog side and sometimes in rides that are challenging. Personally i cant wait for the B25 and a nice Rabaul terrain, or arenas with more supply shipping to attack with skip bombs, or airfield attacks with parafrags...ok now I'm dreaming hehe.

In any case, thanks to Trukk for coming up with this idea and including us. And thanks to the players who partake, yall are the ones who keep the fun going. :)

550TH AAR
Rolled with:

Rossco- FL
Blkmgc
Loboxx
Jimmyz
Kaybay

Munitions target was brought down to 17% (83% dammage). Manny 262's were spotted near the group, but our fine escorts made them feel reeeeealy unwelcome :D . Great fun fellas Cant wait till next weeks run.

Footnote- regularly scheduled 550th training will take place on Tuesday evening, same time. Check the forums for further info.
