Already in game:

47D-11 352FG/328FS by rogerdee
51D 352FG/487FS by Fencer51

Close numbers (maybe they'll have similar paint schemes?)
47D-25 354FG/353FS by Fencer51
51B 354FG/356FS by MachNix
51B 355FG/354FS by MachNix

Don't ever again comment on Allied Paint Schemes after a comment like that :)

352nd FG were the Blue Nosers.  There is one P51D done by Fencer in those markings.  The Jug would more then likely have the white standard ID band on the nose as they got Mustangs shortly after the addition of group nose colors were added in the 8th AF.

I wasn't sure Guppy, am at work, can't look anything up!

I honestly can't remember which paint scheme goes with which allied FG. I remember the paint scheme itself! Just not which number it goes with. I'm sorry, I should have said "also check out these, there's a slim chance they might be similar, but probably not".

yes but their not similar, the 352nd Fighter group or "blue nosed bastards of Bodney"because they had blue nosed aircraft.i found a link to help http://WWW.web-birds.com/8th/352 click on the links below the photo and it gives you a photo of what it looks like and what squad of the 352nd they were in(some may not have pictures),they were a P51 and a P47 squad,i only started looking, and that was the first web page i say that had pictures and info about the aircraft, ill keep looking thow.

Well if you notice the page you linked it shows some P47s very similar to what we have already, and even though it lists a P51B the photos below that don't seem to show any, and it doesn't seem that OD with D-Day stripes was the norm, so I think that was a freak exception to the rule.

Long story short: You want skins, we've got 2 skins, 1 for 51D 1 for 47D11.

That should keep ya going for now. Only thing missing might be a 47D25 skin, but we probably have something close in the meantime (until somebody does a 352FG skin)

Probably your best bet is to see if someone can do a P Pony to go with the Blue nosed D and the Jug.  They didn't have later Jugs, just the razorbacks before they got B Ponies in April of 44.

So you could hopefully get either an OD/Gray bird with the blue nose or a NMF B pony with the blue nose.

They did actually have one OD/Gray B Pony with a blue nose and a sharks mouth.  That would be different.

I will look into doing a P-51B of the 352nd FG but its going to be down the list.  By that time you will probably be in another squadron! :rofl

I have a couple 352nd books already Vans so don't spend too much time researching.  Try http://www.littlefriends.co.uk as well as http://www.starduststudios.com/BNmain.htm

Oh and Krusty, there is the option to NOT post when you don't know anything.  Just a reminder. :)

May I suggest the following if you are truly wanting to get more information.

352nd FG Osprey Aviation Elite @ $22.95

George Preddy, Top Mustang Ace @ $16.47

George Preddy DVD

I have all three and the DVD has all his gun cam footage!
