Wat is it with the FPS's in the 0-10 range when i first start a sorty?

And another thing Tonight Everytime I get within 600 on Someone's 6 I'd get a 8 seconds screen freeze causing the guy to get away or worse Me Auger..Happened on more than one ocasion...Which Words Cannont describe How extremly upset and infuriated I was...

Ever since this patch came out I've been having very bad lag and Screen Freezes as Described above...

I've already Disabled Skins for other planes...Changed my Texture Slider thingy for maximum speed and deleted alll the skins I have no use for...I am only currently carrying skins for the 109's, Jugs's, 190's and the 262..evrything else as far as skins is concerned is deleted... I also Deleted everything in the Cache folder and Re-downloaded it....and still nothing...

While im in flight everything will be fine Till i join a furball of more than 5 people or i get close to the deck...

So my question is..Wat is causing these Screen Freezes??

hey Platano, here's what I have experienced in the few short years I have been here with updates...

Do the screen freezes get fewer the longer you are logged in? If so, give it a bit of time, they will settle out. Sometimes when new skins are added it takes a while.

Are you running on-board sound? If you are, click start---->run--->type in dxdiag and wait until the page loads. check sound devices and set the slider to 3/4 (one notch from the far right). Screen freezes are often attributed to sound. Onboard sound uses up CPU cycles that are better utilized elsewhere.

As far as warping goes....well It's been an issue lately. I run a pretty kickazz pooter, lots don't. Bad connects and poor pooters don't mix well.

Kinda hard to help ya without your pooter specs, but at least there is a start.

Where can I get my system SPecs from? I'll look for them in the meantime..

I had a hard drive problem recently. I reloaded windows on a new drive, DLed a fresh install of AH2, DLed a new hirez pak and installed it. The only things I saved from my old drive were they custom sounds, and the head positions. After I got everything loaded, and set-up, I then defragged the drive.

Now, on the old HD (same speed drives, but new one is bigger) running everything full up I was getting 45-50 FPS anywhere, furballs, heavily damged bases, CVs on fire. Only place that gave me any trouble was tank town on island map.

Now on new drive I'm getting the same thing as Platano. Screen freezes for seconds at a time. Seems to happen when I'm in a fight with more than a couple planes near-by, or when Im scanning the views a lot.

Same here... Untill the update everything was A-OK...but now i get full second freezes a lot. Have went through all the normal checks but to no avail.

I got the same problem befor the update i was running everything maxed out and the hi res pack and was staying at 75 frames no more no less cause my refresh rate is maxed at 75 on my lcd then new patch comes out and when i get in a furball or on the deck i get 5-10 frames.

Whats going on HTC

I updated all my driver's and dated Direct X and no help I got 5MB connection and all my other FLight Games run great but Aces High.

We need to get some help on this.
