Did you know you had a notch of flaps out at all times, even when in auto climb?

Why were you blacking out so heavily in seemingly easy moves? You shouldn't be blacking out that much unless you're trying to pull back on stick at 650mph. That, or your input setup needs serious tweaking!

Were you running fraps directly while in flight? Did you get much slow-down, warping, hitches, etc? Most folks record film, then use fraps when playing the film back. You lose things like text buffer, blackouts, etc, but you don't ruin the gameplay if you cause a slowdown, and that way you can figure out what you want ahead of time (you can review the film) before committing time and effort into running fraps

Yes i used fraps. Everything ran as normal.(and its on a Laptop)

I filmed it a while ago so i wasent as good as i am now. But the flaps did help me climb. I dont know y i blacked out so much. Should i have done not so tight of turnes.

A few things for the guy who doesn't know (hey he's gotta learn somewhere):

1) You will ALWAYS climb better with flaps retracted.

2) Flaps can boost lift temporarily, but they slow you down. Once you bleed off your speed you're in a worse off position, slower and because of the drag you're climbing worse.

3) In your cockpit there is a rate of climb instrument. Watch it. Or pull up E6B (it lists rate of climb there). Go into auto climb. Let it steady out. Note the reading. Stay there for a moment. Drop 1 notch of flaps. See as it jumps? Only.. wait.. what's this? It's going down. WAY down! What happened?? The flap produces more lift, but to stay at the same "best climb" speed, you have to nose down so far that you're losing way more rate of climb than the flaps help you gain back.

4) Just don't climb with flaps, trust us.

no, it wasent "staged" it was a real fight. This was in my Newb days. All i did was ask my friend to come dogfight me. So i hosted and we dogfighted. Ty for the critizisim. Now i know what i need to do in my future movies.
