Not trying to cause a fuss, but...
« Reply #15 on: June 06, 2007, 06:14:46 PM »
Is it possible there is a significante number of parents providing "thier credit card" to HiTech to pay for "thier underage children" to play in our sometimes rather VULGAR and booze enhanced environment. It may be possible he is being a good business man rather than the head master to a delinquent overage boys club? After all, none of us have to answer the private phone in Texas and listen to the irate bill paying parents who might be listening to or looking at the monitor of their under aged progeny while one of us cuts loose with few colorfull lines on country.

Internet services are about paying customer perception and reaction as is all advertising. A poor customer perception of a service such as this game will be spoken about loudly as a venue of negative passive advertisement. I doubt most of us worry about the future of this game beyond our own $14.95 and the personal itch it scratches. I suspect HiTech has to worry years in advance about the perception of this game to keep it alive for us and our children.

I get all that, my gripe was that considering the word "jockitch" vulgar or offensive was going too far.  Diablo, how'd you like it if some holy-roller took offense to your name and caused a fuss?  oh, and how 'bout airSCREW?  "dik" I understand, you can't say that name and not have it sound like you're saying another word, but at some point you've gotta say forget that PC B.S., deal with it.

anyway, it's a moot issue now...

I honestly offer my condolences about your ID. Consider the fact of the very unique artifact that we are part of and the amount of effort HiTech puts in to keeping it alive for us..................:)

I'm certainly not trying to hide anything.  It WAS in my sig for probably the first 6 months I was here.  then I added a founding father quote (different from the one I have now, was 2nd ammendment quote by G. Washington) and shortly after my sig was deleted for being too many lines.  I understood that decision, as the rules were clearly stated so I didn't make a peep and simply remade my sig.

speaking of...  how'd you get your sig to show up in smaller text?  could be useful...

Anyone ordering you you change your in-game ID is a victim of supreme idiocy.

I have seen TEN TIMES WORSE ID's in the game and scratched my head as to how they got them in the first place.

(Not going to mention them due to forum rules).

Change your handle to krotchrot, maybe that would be better than jockitch.

Just like the characteristics of text in a post you can use the size option to control text size.
Use [ and ] instead of ( and ) in this example.
(size=1)makes text small(/size)
makes text small
Far too many, if not most, people on this Board post just to say something opposed to posting when they have something to say.

Very simple

All it takes is one over sensitive looser to whine
Death is no easy answer

Ask those who have been before you
