Zimbabwe is getting really bad at the moment. I just don't understand why they don't get rid of mugabe. he's terrorized his people so much that they are scared to stand up to him, so why doesn't anyone with power stand in and remove the bastard?

they think inflation will reach 1.5 million percent by the end of 2007. you can buy 400,000 zimbabwean dollars for one US dollar atm, and in a week, it'll be a million.

why oh why don't we do anything about him?

I believe they are debating sending hm a letter telling him he is a very very bad boy. That will fix it.

there was once a country called Rhodesia, it was a prosperous country  that grew so much food it exported food, but it was run by the evil white people, so the dark people said we want this country and they got it.

be carefull what you ask for.

robert Mugabe really ran that country into the ground - took the very successful food producing farms from whites who worked hard for them and redistributed them to the "disadvantaged black" who didn't have a clue how to produce food.   this is a failed state.  mugable stays in power by the iron hand, but he won't last forever.  he will die, or get lazy about security and there will be another coupe.  seems to be the way of things on that continent.

Sense of freedom.

Die and be free or live and be slave. They chose the first option.

I agree, UN is useless, they allowed so many massacres, they just let it happen and then just condemn it.

the people of zimbabwe haven't been free in hundreds of years. they got rid of some imperialists and got an evil dictator.

time for the people to sort out their own country. mugabe is so harsh on all who oppose him though, that they all live in total fear. reminds me of ceascaue (sp?) or whatever his name was in romania. one guy shouted out against the regime in a public square, and within a week ceascaue was dead. mugabe is headed for a violent and brutal public death if he doesn't stand down and go into exile. i'll be one of the first celebrating when they do get him. my good friend's grandparents lived in zimbabwe and his grandpa was beaten really badly a few years ago.

sure it worked better as rhodesia, but that doesn't mean it's right. the people need to sieze the power, and become masters of their own destiny.

it is frickin useless. it's like most governments, run by lazy moneygrabbing oafs, who do everything in their own interests. people don't realise that if they f*ck everyone they depend on, they f*ck themselves.

here in the UK, the government doesn't represent the country, they're the rich toffs who just want more money, educated at eton and cambridge, sleazy scams and things going on constantly, and they just jump on the latest bandwagon to get votes and more money. from what i've heard america is just as bad.

about time democracy actually meant democracy
