I was more interested in getting folks to look in the "expanded file" and tulips their personal strengths and weakness. I was / am provoking an "eye opener".
I suppose you could look at it that way (cunning plan) but that wasn't my intention. Hence when I started the thread I didn't put NUMBERS to each category. I wasn't interested in the actual numbers of kills / deaths, rank or K/D type stats. Those threads have been done to death. Neither was I trying to establish if the contributing players were good, bad or suicide dweebs.
You can look up what the most used planes are and in no particular order it's something like P51's, Spit16's, LA7's, Nik2. You can also look up what gets the most kills, whats killed the most but what it doesn't tell you is an individuals personal preference. Type of play or style i.e attack, defence, strat, furball or GV.
Using mine as an example I found a couple of things of interest which surprised me. Looks like I favour air to Gv which I do. Many will assume I'm that banana in the 5 inch CV gun when in actual fact, I'm that banana in the 8 inch. I kill loads of uppers on the deck of enemy Cv's when I'm shelling it. What
surprises me from a personal point is that the gunner stat is so high. I was expecting another plane of mine to acquire number 4 "most kills in".
Another surprise to me and one which I'll work on is in my "killed by" stats. Osties have tied joint first with Spit16 kills on me. Bloody Osties man! Says to me that I haven't been taking them as the threat they obviously are. Unbeknown to me, prior reading my stats, I have been treating them a tad blaz'e. Now I will work on treating them with the contempt they truly deserve
