Most front line airfields are to far apart. Most are at 50 miles+.

To much strat, unless you have 2 zones per country.

Double check the lower left country. Compared to the others, it looks to be spread out.
Most of the people you meet in life are like slinkies. Pretty much useless, but still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

What do you use to build a map like that? Not the TE, right?

When I build map in the TE..it looks like the terrain.

do u mean the clipboard map?

i use the terrian editor but when it says make map (as in map for clipboard)all i would get was a bitmap of the sea with no terrain.

Skuzzy kindly sent me one of his home ade programs to make the clipboard map which works perfect every time for me.

for some reason my laptop doesnt like the map making program that comes with the terrain editor.

Thanks to roy i can now play with the map how i want with out any problems.

In addition to NHawks comments (although I don't see as much of an issue with airfield placements), your TT in the lower left is problematic, in that when the yellow VB is gone, there's no way for the country to get it back.

Edit -> I just realized I was looking at the spawn point lines wrong, and I see what you intended (I think).  I doubt it would work well though with what will quickly be surrounded by orange airfields".

I think you might run into a problem with "even-zies". The southern country has its bases spaced out, the NW country has them close, and the NE country has a mix. I'm not sure how it will "play", but it looks to me where who ever ends up with the southern country wil be complaining about the "flight times" being too long and the NW about being too tight, when the enemy hit their mainland.

Just my opinion, but  Hey! any new map would be ok with me !! Keep at it !

still playing with the base spacing ect ect but we all know it will end up as  a gang bang as soon as the map would come on line.

just like every other map we have .but in theory as the map rotates evey side should get the same problems at least 1 out of 3 times they play it.

I understand what your saying, and I myself don't have a problem with it, but you know the "community". I have no evidence, but I think thats one of the reasons Mindinao map isn't in the rotation, as well as why Fester's newest map didn't make it in.

Maybe before you spend too mach time on it, send a note to Skuzzy to check the thread and see if he thinks its got a chance to get in.
