HTC - Please add feature to Forum Web page
« on: July 20, 2007, 03:15:45 PM »
HTC,

Would it be possible to add a feature to the forum Web page so that the banner on top (with the AH logo) can be minimized?

It's very difficult to read the forums at work with the attention they deserve, while looking over my shoulder for the boss. From a distance, the various forums could be anything, but that logo on top along with the TBFs is a real give-away. I have to keep a spreadsheet or work related web page at the ready just in case.

I'm sure there are others out there with problem. So please HTC help us hardly working (oops I mean hard working) folks (and probably a good number of your staff! :)

Oh-oh, the boss is coming, gotta go!

^-- Firefox/Mozilla only, I think. I don't believe MSIE has that option.

Explore does not have that option.

Click below for no banner:

IE?  Is that browser still being used?  Wow, go figure, didn't think people still fell for that one.

MSIE is quite capable. I used to be "picky" about the browser I used. Now I'm not. I have both installed on my own computer (not here at work, though). When you set the options properly, it's not that bad.

once at the forum, right click any discussion page and choose "open in a new window" in IE.

no header, and you can just click on the "Aces High BB" in the top left to get back home.

close the original window, and that is all.
I don't know what to put here yet.
