Damage screwy?

Made an attack on a field after the only 2 others on logged, hoped someone would log in while I was at it (one did, but he stayed nit for about 5 minutes then logged), and at least I'd have something to shoot at while I was at it.

2 1,000 pounders on the same spot, most of my cannon and a bunch of MG, nothing destroyed. At the same time I was getting hit HARD for 3 or 4 passes and made it out with 1 gun out and an oil line hit.

New hardness settings, or something not quite Kosher?

Apparently its something with the terrain. I went to another field with an F6F, dropped 2 1000 pounders on the ammo bunker/barrack/fuel that are bunched close together. Got them and a gun, messages were "soft gun battery destroyed- soft gun battery destroyed- road convoy destroyed- road convoy destroyed"

Pulled up, lined up on a gun, 2 direct hits with rockets, nothing. Next run, 2 mor hits, nothing. THIRD run, 2 more hits, it finally goes down. Then commenced to strafing, got a few guns. At one point got 2 in one run. Pulled out, zoomed, dove in, those 2 were back up and shooting.

I filmed the next run, made an almost carbon copy attack on a third field and got virtually the same results. All the time I was under fire, and on the last pass I finally took an oil line hit. Still made it home though.

Air to air damage is fine, but the g2a and a2g seems totally out of whack.
