LW squads, a proposition...
« on: August 01, 2007, 11:40:48 AM »
This coming October we have a scenario called "Der Große Schlag" taking place. This is a big event. Most scenarios are, but this one more so. There's a lot of effort being put into this one. It has all the makings of a very memorable experience.

It revolves around US fighters escorting US bombers to Germany, and LW fighters attacking the bombers. It has more facets than that, but for a summary it will do.

The LW will field squadrons of Fw190A-8s, Fw190D-9s, Me109G-14s, and Me109K-4s in varrying numbers to stop the allied juggernaut. The title "Der Große Schlag" refer to "the great blow" when the LW massed its forces for one massive blow to the allied bombers. We will use the planes at hand to do as much damage as possible.

So, in short, The Luftwaffe wants YOU!

Many of you squadrons already know about this, and have many pilots already involved. For those that were unsure, didn't know, or just didn't check up on it, please consider joining!

Chances are if a group of you all sign up and want to fly together (as some JG11 pilots), that we can get you all flying in the same unit! Or if you all want to spread out and try different craft (as my 71 Sqn squaddies), you can do that to!
