We have a Hellcat on display at the airport I work part time at. I can look at it a hundred times a day and never tire of seeing it.

I like the f6f, but all things beeing as they are i would rather take the F4U-1.  Why take a Hellcat when you have perfectly good coursairs?  For that matter, why take the coursair when you have perfectly good Lighnings?

I saw a real Hellcat take off two years ago.  There is no finer sound in the world than that Double Wasp, except for perhaps a pair of Allisons.

You must answer me these questions three, dare the other side you see.
WHAT is your quest?

WHAT is your favorite color?

WHAT is the terminal airspeed velocity of an unladden swallow?

The Coursair is a great plane but I will always choose a Hellcat over it any day.

I love the Hellcat, 2nd favorite plane all time behind the f-14. 187 kills and 75 deaths in it this month so far. haven't used it much the last couple days, trying to get used to the 51 for the event in october.
