I fly as TigerGuy

Graduated from Clemson (mascot is Tigers for those who don't want to take the time to look it up) and I work with a bunch of NC State guys who referred to me as the "Tiger Guy" when I started here.

when i was trying to pick a call sign, all the ones I wanted were already taken and uptown just popped in my head for some reason. I thought, "yeah, that sounds like a fighter pilots callsign". typed it in, and thats that.

lets see USURPER was my first  cpid  (that is someone who takes over someone else's  house  or country)
i left and came back about 6 months later as
INK,   that's what i do. (for almost 20 years)
now i am JETSOM
i chose this name because i got  my brother to fly in AH and we both love the thrash metal band   FLOTSAM &  JETSAM,
       which means trash and debri
or to be more precise it is what washes up on shore after a ship wreck.

My board name (Estes - I flew early AH as Estes as well) taken from the model rockets. Always had fun and mischief with those.

Got mine way back at the times of AW from my buddy Grimm who flies for the Cactus Air Force squad.  So, in high school I was into art and then got an art scholorship as well as a baseball one.  Got introduced into the game from Grimm and he said I needed good handle.  Said multiple things and then I was doing a 'sketch' and he blurted it out... sound good, so I kept it.  My son I call Scribble and if I have another she/he will be Doodle..... then I better get an Eraser to clean up the Inkstain....

When I started playin AW in '97, I was 12 years old, and had no clue about anything dealing with ww2 outside of what they taught us in school up to that point, which isn't much. So when dad (0ldemon here 0lmon in AW) found AW, i didn't like it.. thought it was for "old people" lol.

I finally get on, and it asks me for a name, and so I chose buldg or something like that, it was the mascot of the high school I was going to attend, as well as the first professional football team, the Canton Bulldogs. The I started messing with squads and like now, back then a lot of squads used the same kind of CPID/handles. (AKz, FBz, WMz, JBz, etc etc) The name of the squad was Steel Falcons, so we used SF in our name. This is where sf3 got his name, as he was the 3rd person to join. lol It's bad I know, but like I said, I was a "squeaker" as they're called now :)

Shortly after that, the squad folded, and it was time to pick a new name again, and I didn't feel like messing with it, so I chose PK (my initials) and kept the 1.

humble...

Because thats what this game will do to you. I started for real in AW on AOL with the "newbie arena etc...well I started at the top and quickly worked my way down to the noob of nubieville....hence the name....

As for snaphook, well a few moments on the 1st tee make that self evident.

Because like an Emu, I look like I could fly, but never manage to take off.

Never mind for how long I've kicked those rudder pedals, pushed on the throttle, and move the joystick... I am always in the same seat, with the same computer, and in the same room :aok
