I seem to warping badly, I've tried resetting my modem (cable) and relogging into the game but the warping persists. I dunno what I can do about this but the FAQ said to post the ping plotter results, so here they are:

I think you're supposed to pingplot to one of these:

I also have noticed more warping lately, but have not had connection issues other than warping.

FYI, just check this. Go to control panel, performance and maintanence, power options, and make sure its on home/office desktop and NOT energy star. That is known to cause warping.

Badair, "going south" is a term meaning going bad or dying.

Do you have any friends that are good with computers? It might be worth your while to get hold of one and bribe him to look at your machine for you if you are not comfortable with messing about.

Does your system plug directly into the modem that the cable company provided? Or is it plugged into something else thats plugged into the modem.

BA, download the pingplotter program from This link. Then post your findings here after you run tests to the addresses Scottydog posted above. It will help to figgure out where the problem is.

Also a few other things to consider. Do you have anything else running in the back ground? MSN, anti virus, ect ect? That to can effect your gaming. As well as any spyware or adware that may reside on your system. Download and install Spybot Search& Destroy and Ad Aware These will remove most spyware references from your system.

There are a few other things I can think of, but I need to get through my first coffee ATM.

fsautostart (google it) is a program that stops services and programs before it runs your game, basically strips it down so it can focus on running the game. It's pretty awesome.
