You can put any pic you want in there.
Convert it into a 512x512 8bit bitmap and put it into the "maps" folder...

It's truly amazing how long it can take to put together a good map, though.  Especially when you need to learn both the tools and the process simultaneously.  

I've spent more time on the MA Map I've been working than I've flown this year.  (And it shows when I fly!!)
