If the Swastika is evil and anything adorned with one is evil, is this triple evil?

as much as i agree with you,

let me play devils advocate..

lets say I am a concentration camp survivor and through my experiences i have assosciated this symbol with anti-semitism (rightfully so in some cases)and with death and have taught my kids so.What would i or my children think if i saw a USN building knowingly built in this fasion.

Don't worry, BlueJ1. I'm sure Haliburton will get the money anyway.

Perhaps the architect was a Hindu...  or a practioner of Janism.  The symbol is holy to them.

Or perhaps the building was built in four stages and that is how four L shaped building best fit on the lot.

I doubt the architect was a nazi.

It could been also built by a finn who was proud of the finnish airforce! :p

FAF has proudly served Finland since 1918 and still goes strong without a change to one of it's squadron flags.

You won't get to pry that insignia off of our air forces without going over me first - and thousands of others. It will not be modified due to complaints by PC's.

The buildings to the west of it look like bombers flying toward or away from the BEQ in question. But no one cares about that. :rolleyes:

Considering that symbol is over 3000 yrs old, I don't see any hidden meaning n 4 L shaped blds put together like that.

If anything...  I think Hindu more than German when I see one.

Whole stupid thing is blown out of proportion.

I tried to find them, but thats a pretty large area. Does anyone have co-ords of these infamous landmarks?

While looking around I did see 2 S's, an H, a T, an L, an I an E and a close resemblance of an R. I think there is more to this naval base than the Navy wants to admit :noid

Search for San Diego. Then go west of the city to the "island" of Coranado. The island tapers off into a narrow strip. Theres a 4 lane highway that leads south on this strip. Right below the major part of the island where the strip starts theres a naval Amphibious Base on the East side of the 4 lane road. Its on the main land side of the strip. Maybe a 1/2 mile from the major part of the island.
