Interesting how life works....now I'm out every Saturday morning (after pulling a 10pm - 8am on Friday) to watch the kids soccer games that are at 8am and 11am respectively.  Since I bought my Powershot A560 a few months ago, I've had a lot of fun taking pictures as they play.

I can certainly appreciate the equipment guys like you use now for these kinds of sporting events!

I wanted tickets to that game so bad. (only a two hour drive to Heinz field for me) I was waiting, planning to get tickets for the Steelers and Jags in December, but they started 3 and 0 and the tickets went fast.

It will be a good game Rip.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

I suspect the Steelers will have the advantage and win. We're short a good wide receiver and our sack leader from last year is out on the D. :(

That's sorta how I was 6 years ago LePaul, used my 35mm stuff for my oldest soccer games (when he was 5) and bought my first digital (P&S Canon S40).  $10,000 laters and 6 years....its an addiction I tell ya. ;)

All my 35mm stuff is worthless pretty much, if you consider what I paid for that stuff over the period of 20 years prior to the digital age.

Idaho seems to be mostly Seahawk country, although there are a few Bronco (Denver not BSU) fans too.

Well, I'm assuming that you haven't carpeted your yard yet.

Get after it, and post pics.

Say, hows that working out for you MT?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

The job is great, the people are great, the area is pretty nice... but close to some great spots.

The housing market in California has my juevos in a vice though... Prices (and values) are dropping faster than .... well you fill in the metaphore. This means buying a home in Idaho will be great, but I can't sell mine here for any price. Probably end up leasing it.

I grew up in Idaho, Idaho Falls, then went to school at BSU. I grew up cheering for Cowboys (still do). It is predominately Bronco or Seahawk country for pro football for sure.

No Seahawk Fan would be able to sit down after the reaming your team had on Sunday ;)
