An Idea on the AVA

I've flown in AvA a few times.  It was great for the first few nights and very much like Dichotomy's envisioned style of play.  I figured I would be in there often.

Then it turned sour a few nights and I haven't been back.  I'll pop in some more and give it a try.

Dichotomy,

I agree that it sounds like the arena setup is good to go:aok   Salute AvA staff for listening to our concerns and keeping this important arena available to us:aok

As far as the name calling (buzz kill-- I think u called it "dweeblameluzery") may go, it might be a good thing to remember that not all history buffs are 20 or 30 something.  The amazing thing is that there are some that are not through high school yet.  I can list a few that have great interests in the history and specs, represented in AH2.  I love to listen to this kind of kid, and I believe they look up to the kind of folks that I have seen posting here.

I only bring this up in hopes that it might help buffer the amount of acusations of poor sportsmanship, if we (myself, included) remember that not all sticks have the tools yet to do what is expected of them.  (BTW, these same teenagers often are some of the better sticks).

Cant disagree Chili

Monday and Tuesday this week had good turnout and relatively low whining on 200 or the boards.  I'll be there tonight as promised
