Ok, i am probably the WORST pilot in the P-51D.... really the only plane im good in is the FM2,F4F, and P-47, i NEED TIPS this plane is good it pwns just not in my hands, and i know for a fact VANSCREW is prolly THE best
P-51D pilot in the game, so anyone got tips?

not quite bob. vans is good, but 1 on 1, in 51's he doesn't stand a chancne against some.

he's ok in th MA's, especially at staying alive and racking up a lot of kills, but he's NOT the best 51 pilot out there. no offence vans ;)

some of the better P-51 pilots I have seen..........I like and prefer the Bravo Pony myself.......simply handles better and I seem to connect better with the 4 than I do with the 6 on the D model for some reason.......

kappa back in the day used to fly a mean P51D, don't run into him hardly ever anymore though...

Look for a guy named "0ldemon", who fly's rook.

One of the best fights i had ever vs a pony  was against him a couple weeks back.  

It's pretty easy to BnZ with a pony, but it takes alot of practice and patience to get down and dirty on the deck with one without losing all your E.

I also prefer the b model, but only because the d is so popular.

hey hey, vans talks dumb smack a lot, but he's not a bad stick. he has a lot to learn, but he's not bad.



bob, if you want tips, the no. 1 i can give you is have fun. you wanna get good? forget about score or winning, just throw that pony into a fight. you'll lose a lot for a bit, but after a while you'll learn how to work it.

just go with it for a while, soon you'll be a master.

i doubt any decent stick will disagree with me. learn by experience!

low alt pony flying follow steve or stang around ... high alt follow skatsr , Gorkle or xMarine.

check out the films too ..that will teach ya most of its tricks

Yeah Midnight is the CO (FYI its the Braunco's, but who cares:aok ).  SkatSr's in the squad with us, along with Tango(in game handle dtango is bb name).  I'd also add SkatJr up there also.  Everyone on there deserves that spot tho as they are just savage in the Pony.  Wish one day I can be too!
